Our Unforgettable 2 Days at the Suffolk Show 2025

What an experience! Those two days were filled with laughter, joy, and of course dance, as we had the privilege of performing at the Suffolk Show 2025. The atmosphere was alive with excitement and fun.

This year, we had the honor of dancing and showcasing the talent from our students at Maddy's Dance School of Suffolk. We performed three times a day on both days and had students from 3 years old all the way up to our adults performing. Each performance was a moment to shine, as we shared the fun throughout the day.

Both days, we had our vibrant Maddy's Dance School of Suffolk T-shirts from Star Dance Wear, which looked fantastic and bonded us even closer as a dance family.

The atmosphere of the Suffolk Show was perfect for our performances. We saw our students embrace the thrill of the event. We are so proud of every single student that performed over the two days.

We had three different classes performing in the Suffolk Show. First we had our Fun Dance Class from Hadleigh and Ipswich. These students showed and performed their class dances to Shake It Off - Taylor Swift, Azizam - Ed Sheeran, APT - ROSE & Bruno Mars and Dear Future Husband - Meghan Trainor. All the students from these performances showed how amazing their skills and confidence were.

We then went on to show our Compeition Class students. These students compete in competitions throughout the year. We started off with one of their favourite routines to Unholy by Sam Smith & Kim Petras. We then went on to showcase our exam dances which consisted of a slow/lyrical dance and a street/commercial dance. The students also got to showcase their Disco Freestyle solos that they perform at competitions. We were very proud for every student to get up and show what they can do!

Lastly we had our Adult dancers! These dancers showed how our classes are all about being sassy, confident and just loving yourself! The performance was a mix of different songs from Tate McRae, Alex Warren, Jessie J, Ariana Grande & many more. This performance showed the audience our close group friendship and how much we love performing with eachother.

Between performances, we explored the Suffolk Show. From different style of stalls and the variety of activities made it a delightful experience. We also met the incredible Spudman and the stall was impossible to resist.

Not only did my students perform exceptionally well, but they also built confidence and poise in front of larger audiences. There is something magical about dancing in a vibrant setting that allows artists to express themselves in ways they never thought possible. Their excitement lit up the stage.

Reflecting on those two days, I realize that this was not just a series of performances. It was a transformational experience that deepened their love for dance and created lasting friendships. As their dance teacher, the pride I felt was overwhelming.

As our time at the Suffolk Show wrapped up, we left with our spirits high and hearts full, already daydreaming about next year’s performance. We eagerly discussed new choreography, costumes, and everything else that would make our next appearance spectacular.

In summary, our two days at the Suffolk Show 2025 were phenomenal. Performing three times a day alongside incredible students, wearing vibrant T-shirts from Star Dance Wear, and immersing ourselves in such a lively atmosphere created lifelong memories that we will treasure.

Dance will always be a powerful expression of our passion. I am more excited than ever to see how my students continue to grow in their craft and grow as a dance family. Here’s to many more performances filled with spirit, joy, and unforgettable experiences!
